As long you're not using the speakerphone function, it should be fine. I certainly didn't notice any degradation in sound quality. Have you tried calls with it both on and off? That’s weird. Immediately, I got a phone call and I can hardly hear anything - even with the volume turned all the way up. Have you noticed any issues with sound in regards to phone calls?
